General Terms and Conditions of business
§1 Scope and provider
(1) The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) regulate the contractual relationship between SKILLUP Outdoors, Sandstrasse 3, CH-8003 Zurich (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”) and you (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”), in the version valid at the time the contract is concluded.
(2) Any deviating general terms and conditions of the customer will be rejected.
§2 Conclusion of the contract
(1) Contracts may only be concluded in German.
(2) The purchaser must be at least 18 years old.
(3) The presentation of the events on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer. The presentation of the events merely invites the customer to make an offer.
(4) By booking a paid event, the customer enters into a contractual relationship with SKILLUP Outdoors. The user is informed about the respective paid event and the payment conditions before concluding this contractual relationship. The contractual relationship is created when the customer confirms the order and payment obligation by clicking on the “book with payment” button.
(5) By booking, you agree to receive invoices exclusively electronically. Electronic invoices will be sent to you by email.
(6) SKILLUP Outdoors will send the customer a written booking confirmation by email.
§3 Description of the scope of services
(1) The respective services of the events offered can be found in the service descriptions (published on the provider’s website).
§4 Prices and booking conditions
(1) To book events, you must enter personal data.
(2) If the user wishes to use a paid service, he will be informed in advance of the obligation and the costs involved. In particular, the scope of the service, the costs involved and possible payment methods will be listed.
(3) The provider reserves the right to calculate different cost models for different booking times and different periods of use, as well as to offer different scopes of services.
§5 Terms of Payment
(1) Settlement can only be made using the following means of payment:
- Instant transfer
- Credit card
- Google Pay
(2) If the customer chooses an online payment method, the customer thereby authorizes the provider to collect the amounts due at the time of the order.
(3) If the customer chooses to pay in advance, the customer must transfer the invoice amount to the provider’s account within five calendar days of receipt of the order.
(4) If the customer chooses to pay by credit card, he expressly authorizes the provider to collect the amounts due.
(5) Should the customer default on payment, the provider reserves the right to claim damages for late payment.
§6 Cancellation and change of participant
(1) If a customer has registered for a paid event, the full amount will be charged in any case. Exception: Accident or illness. In this case, a medical certificate must be presented:
- Cancellation with medical certificate up to 7 days before the event: 100% refund
- Cancellation with medical certificate up to 1 day before the event: 80% refund
- No refunds for cancellation or no-show on the day of the event
(2) A change of registered participants as a replacement is possible without additional costs, but must be announced by email to info@skillup-outdoors.ch at least 1 day before the event.
(3) If an event cannot take place due to bad weather conditions or other unavoidable influences, SKILLUP Outdoors reserves the right to cancel the event up to 2 days in advance. In this case, the customer will be reimbursed 100% of their costs.
§7 Disclaimer
(1) SKILLUP Outdoors accepts no liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health.
(2) Furthermore, SKILLUP Outdoors disclaims any liability for other damages such as loss or damage to the participants’ equipment or to rental equipment belonging to third parties.
§8 Final Provisions
(1) We reserve the right to make changes to our website, rules and conditions, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time. Your order will be subject to the terms and conditions of sale, contract terms and conditions in force at the time of your order.
