Weekendcamp alpine hiking introductory course
This course is right for you if you are already an experienced mountain hiker and would like to do your first alpine hikes independently.
In this weekend camp you will learn how to move safely in alpine and partly pathless terrain in two days of hiking. This also includes tour planning with risk management before and during an alpine hike.
The Package
- Instruction from a qualified mountain guide
- Overnight stay in a dormitory incl. half board
- Imparting the necessary knowledge: Planning, risks, behavior in an emergency, route finding, and much more.

Requirements

You are an experienced mountain hiker and can also cope with short exposed passages. Hikes with a rucksack up to 850 m and 3-4 hours are no problem for you.

- Grindelwald railroad station
ARRIVAL
- Self-organized
- Possible by public transport and car
- If you are looking for a ride or would like to take someone with you in the car, please let us know when you book (including your departure location). We will then see if we can organize a carpool.
schedule
- Meeting and getting to know each other at 08:00
- We take the bus together to Bussalp, where we start with a short theory session over a coffee in the mountain restaurant.
- Afterwards we start the hike
- Lunch break in the meantime (please bring a packed lunch!)
- Overnight stay at the Berghotel Faulhorn
- our second tour from Faulhorn will be decided depending on the conditions

Es wird in jedem Fall der volle Betrag berechnet. Wir empfehlen eine Annulationsversicherung. Sofern wir den Platz an eine/n neue/n Teilnehmer/in vergeben können, erstatten wir gerne den vollen Teilnahmebetrag. Keine Kostenerstattung bei Stornierung oder Nichterscheinen am Tag der Veranstaltung.
Ein Wechsel der angemeldeten Teilnehmer als Ersatz ist ohne weitere Kosten möglich, muss aber spätestens bis 1 Tag vor der Veranstaltung per E-Mail oder WhatsApp angekündigt werden.
Sollte eine Veranstaltung aufgrund von schlechter Wetterbedingungen oder sonstigen unvermeidbaren Einflüssen nicht stattfinden können, behält sich Skillup Outdoors das Recht vor die Veranstaltung bis 2 Tage vorher abzusagen. In diesem Fall wird dem Besteller 100% seiner Kosten erstattet.
